The OLC would like to welcome Vijaya Chikermane to its team!

Vijaya is  OLC’s new Knowledge Exchange Coordinator and will be focusing on the OLC’s Spotlight on Learning: Becoming Agents of Change conference, to be held October 18-20, 2010 in downtown Toronto. We’re excited to have Vijaya on board!

In the fast-paced world of literacy and essential skills, each literacy practitioner and administrator is an agent of change because they impact lives every day through learning. The 2010 Spotlight on Learning conference supports that work by offering/sharing practical tools and advice.

The 2010 Spotlight on Learning conference seeks to build a foundation for learning, upon which vibrant and progressive communities can be built. How can we promote literacy as a tool for positive change within our communities? By Becoming Agents of Change.
